TUKU

teachers' study center

designed by: Howard+Chasin

The masses are randomly arranged for sparing some intermediate spaces among the workshop rooms for teachers to socialize; the terraces facing the teaching areas leave no extra room so as to reduce the pressure on the campus buildings caused by the teacher workshop center on the one hand. On the other hand, the open view of the terrace also offers a space for the teachers who attend the workshops to relax and to have possibile independent outdoor activities.

What we visualize is a kind of "floating settlement".
